Observatory is a Story Quest (Main Mission) in Dying Light 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Observatory Story Mission.
Region: West of Garrison (Outside of the City)

Reward: 1250 Combat XP, 3750 Parkour XP
Mission Info: Rowe believed that the Observatory and its GRE databases had been destroyed during the bombing. I went to check it out.
Objectives:

Get to the Observatory GRE base
This is basically the shortest story quest in the game, with your only objective being to head out to the marked location. You’ll head out of the normal city area to the outskirts. Assuming you are going directly west and go across the planks leading towards the Nightrunner’s Hideout, there is an inhibitor chest you can grab underwater on the way.
Inside the Nightrunner’s Hideout, you can pick up a tape from the shelf.

Now continue out to the marked location. You can cut straight through the wooded area if you want, just watch out for any mines on the ground. Once you reach the marked location interact with the board against the wall.
There will be some scenes, then Aiden wakes up back in the City and the quest is complete.
This finishes Observatory story quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
