A Final Request is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Final Request Side Quest.
A Final Request is unlocked once you approach Lucky Genzo’s Inn.
Side Tale: A Final Request
Act: 2 – Retake Castle Shimura
Region: Lucky Genzo’s Inn, Toyotama
Quest Giver: Oda’s wife
Requirement: started Region 2 (Toyotama)
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Melee Charm, 8 Leather
Mission Info: Sounds like fighting at the Inn. I should investigate.
Objectives:
- Defeat the Ronin attacking the Inn
- Search the Inn for Survivors
- Search for the Ronin Camp by the Gorge
- Defeat the Ronin at the Camp by the Gorge
- Speak with the Prisoner
- Search for the Ronin Camp atop the Cliffs
- Defeat the Ronin at the Camp by the Cliffs
- Speak with the Prisoner
- Search for the Ronin Camp near Lake Kubara
- Defeat the Enemies at the Lakeside Camp
- Speak with the Prisoner

Defeat the Ronin attacking the Inn
Once you get close to Lucky Genzo’s Inn, Jin notices some Straw Hats attacking and steps in. Roughly half a dozen enemies have to be taken out to stop the attack.

Search the Inn for Survivors
If the area is clear, head inside the right side of the Inn to see a wounded woman. Talk to her and find out what happened.
Search for the Ronin Camp by the Gorge
She asks us to find her husband Oda and points us to a Ronin Camp to the north-east.

Defeat the Ronin at the Camp by the Gorge
This camp has about five low-level enemies, which are easily taken out.
Speak with the Prisoner
Talk to the man sitting on the ground to get information on Oda’s whereabouts.
Search for the Ronin Camp atop the Cliffs
Sadly, we haven’t found Oda, but could try our luck at another camp nearby.
Defeat the Ronin at the Camp by the Cliffs
This camp only has a total of five enemies, which don’t pose a big threat.
Speak with the Prisoner
Once they’ve been dealt with, speak to the prisoner at the campfire in the middle of the area.
Search for the Ronin Camp near Lake Kubara
He points us to yet another camp nearby, which finally could be the location where Oda is being currently held.
Defeat the Enemies at the Lakeside Camp
A total of eight enemies are within close proximity here; two heavier and six lighter Ronin.
Speak with the Prisoner
Finally, we have found and saved Oda, but have to deliver the sad news about his wife.
This finishes the A Final Request quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
