The Fool (Masako Tale 5 of 9) is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Fool Side Quest.
The Fool is unlocked when you’ve completed The Traitor and reached Act 2.

Requirement: Complete The Traitor and reached Act 2.
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Utility Charm, +2 Silk
Mission Info: (Masako Tale 5 of 9). A Masako Tale (5 of 9). Lady Masako has gone to Umugi to look for other conspirators who killed her family. Umugi Cove is home to smugglers, ronin and thieves. The perfect hiding place for a traitor.

- Defeat the bandits
- Loot the bandits

Starting Location: The Fool
Travel to the entrance of Umugi Cove
Find Masako amongst some red flowers by the entrance to Umugi Cove.
Follow Masako
Follow Masako a few steps up the small hill.
Trail the brother
Everyone’s favorite mission type…trailing! Stay on the cliff, head through the tall grass and then cross the log. Head through the red flowers and cross another log. Swing or jump to the rock opposite and wait for the brother to finish talking. When he sets off, climb across the ledges and drop down a safe distance behind him. Follow him through the narrow canyon and he’ll have an argument with a merchant. Stay hidden, then start following from a distance again once he wanders off. After he walks down some steps, this objective ends.
Speak with Masako
Masako will be on a rock overlooking the house that the brother walked to.
Follow Masako
Jump down and follow Masako behind a rock for a cutscene.
Trail the brothers
Again? Sigh. Stay low and head under the house, creeping through the stilts. When the brothers walk along the bridge, keep underneath it so they can’t see you. Then move into the long grass and head towards the gathering.
Defeat the bandits
It wouldn’t be a mission in this game without some bloodshed, so turn the river red. A simple task, as these petty archer and shield bandits go down in barely a couple of hits.
Loot the bandits
One of the bandits will have a letter on him, so check all the dead bodies with 
to collect it.
Speak with Masako
Walk over to Masako who is inspecting another body.
This finishes The Fool quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
