The Blood Sutra (Norio Tale 5 of 9) is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Blood Sutra Side Quest.

Side Tale: The Blood Sutra
Act: 2

Quest Giver: Norio
Requirement: Complete The Birth of Suffering.
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Utility Charm, +2 Silk
Mission Info: A Norio Tale (5 of 9). The abbot of the temple was preaching resistance to the Mongols. Norio and I must find him, or Kushi Temple will fall.
Objectives:
- Speak with Norio
- Reach Koshimizu Farm with Norio
- Go investigate the fire
- Search the house for signs of the abbot
- Follow the tracks
- Defeat the Mongols
- Investigate the area
- Investigate the waterfall below
- Investigate the monk’s body
Starting Location: The Blood Sutra
Speak with Norio
Norio can be found at Kushi Temple.
Reach Koshimizu Farm with Norio
Head out of the temple and follow the road on horseback. Eventually you’ll come to the farm, located next to a lake.
Go investigate the fire
The fire is coming from a house near the back of the farm.
Search the house for signs of the abbot
Investigate the charred bodies on the floor, the two barrels next to it, the straw bedding next to the barrels and finally the window behind the barrels.
Follow the tracks
Jump out this window to find the tracks, which head off down the road. Follow it until you come across some stone steps going upwards, which is guarded by a Mongol you have to kill. Next to him will be a blood trail heading off from the steps down another road.
Defeat the Mongols
Follow the trail to a cliff where a pool with a bridge flows into a waterfall. Defeat the small group of blue armor Mongols here.
Investigate the area
Head to the edge of the waterfall and investigate the blood-spattered rock.
Investigate the waterfall below
Jump off the cliff into the water below, then turn around, climb up onto the ledge and squeeze through the gap.
Investigate the monk’s body
Inside this cave is the monk’s body. Investigate it with 
to complete this mission.
