Starting Location: The Fate of Tsushima
Speak with Yuna
Head to Lord Shimura’s Camp and you’ll automatically have a cutscene where you speak with samurai reinforcements. After that, you are told to find Yuna, but you can also speak to your other allies as well if you wish. Kenji is overlooking the battering ram, Norio is in a stable meditating with some monks, Masako is next to the entrance to the camp where the swordsmen are training in the yard, whilst Ishikawa is in the center of the training yard training the archers.
After speaking to them (or not), find Yuna in the house next to the Trapper merchant.
Speak with Lord Oga
Lord Oga can be found at the front entrance to the camp.
Travel with Lord Oga to meet your uncle
Go on a short horse ride with Lord Oga up towards the tower where Lord Shimura awaits.
Speak with Lord Shimura at the watchtower
Head inside the watchtower and up the ladder to meet Lord Shimura.
Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces
After a cutscene, you will arrive at Castle Shimura. You’ll start right in the middle of battle and have to defeat a swathe of Mongols. There will be enemies requiring all four stances, but your priority should be the archers on the battlements ahead. Take them out with your arrows (aiming for the explosive barrels will help). After you kill them all, push forward to the gate for a cutscene where you will burst it open with a battering ram. After that, you’ll have to fight to another gate with more of the same Mongols. Take out the archers as a priority. You’ll then burst through and have to make your way to a third gate with the largest Mongol force yet. A good idea would be to run to the back of the area and to the next gate, as Mongol fire archers will be up there and if you don’t take them out quickly they’ll pepper you with fire arrows constantly and make short work of your health. Once they’re out the way (either by hitting them with your own arrows or climbing the ladder to take them out), focus on the soldiers on the ground using your best techniques and Ghost Stance if necessary.
Scout ahead of your army
Climb up the ladder to the left of the gate (the one you might have used to take out the Fire Archers) and loot the room for ammo and then head through to see a cutscene.
Defeat the hwacha operators
Just like you did in the “Message in Fire” mission, you need to make your way to the hwacha machines while dodging their fire. A white circle will appear on the ground to see where the flaming projectiles will land, so make sure to avoid those. You’ll have a few Brutes to take out along the way, and then have to climb up some boxes to proceed. After this, turn to your left, climb the ladder up the watchtower and easily dispatch the two archers.
Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces
This objective returns, except this time you are manning the hwacha. This is a fun section where you just rain fire down on Mongols with . First, clear the courtyard directly below you, spamming until they’re all dead. Then aim to the left below you in the next courtyard, then finally up ahead near the bridge where the next batch is congregating. Eventually, Yuna will tell you that there are no more left.
Rejoin your allies
Head down the ladder and run towards the bridge.
Drive the enemy across the bridge
Dispatch the latest array of Mongols, who are a mix of swordsmen, Brutes and archers. You should have Ghost Stance available after slaughtering all the enemies on the hwacha, so use it to defeat the Brutes with little trouble. After the first lot are down, head through a gate and cut through another group.
Climb the bridge’s gatehouse
Climb up the ladder and observe the cutscene.
Fire at the charging horses
Aim your arrow at any of the charging horses and watch the fireworks…and the cutscene which ends this mission.
This finishes The Fate of Tsushima quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
