Ghost of Tsushima How to Get Iron

Iron in Ghost of Tsushima is used to upgrade your melee weapons. The higher the upgrade level, the more resources it will require. Visit any swordsmith to upgrade your Katana and Tanto Dagger.

Here’s How to Get Iron:

• Fixed Reward for liberating small enemy Outposts (Red Dots on Map). Not from liberating Farms or Strongholds.
• Iron is very frequently found at all small enemy Outposts (Red Dots on Map). Also found at Enemy Strongholds (Red Building Icon on Map), less frequently at Enemy Farms (Red Wheat Icon).
• Bought from Trappers in exchange for Supplies.
