Ghost of Tsushima has 16 Shinto Shrines (+1 in Iki Island). Finding all Shinto Shrine Locations unlocks the Favor of the Kami trophy.
None of the Shinto Shrine Collectibles are missable! It doesn’t matter what dialogue choices or what ending you pick during the story. You can still get all Shinto Shrines after the story in free-roam. You can reveal them on the map as question marks by liberating all of the Occupied Mongol Territories.
When you get near the Shinto Shrine, there will be some gates signaling the entrance. This is always followed by a long climbing section with the Shinto Shrine at the top of a mountain. Pray at the Shrine and it will reward you with a Charm, which provide various useful benefits.
