The Last Warrior Monk (Norio Tale 1 of 9) is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Last Warrior Monk Side Quest.

Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Defence Charm, +2 Silk
Mission Info: A Norio Tale (1 of 9). The warrior monk Norio told me a fellow monk of Cedar Temple is helpng the people of Akashima Village. Norio asked me to join him there and bolster their efforts to resist the invaders.
Objectives:
- Meet Norio in Akashima Village
- Go to the tea fields with Norio
- Pick up the Mongols’ trail
- Speak with Norio
- Follow the Mongols’ trail
- Free the captured monks
- Defeat the Mongols
- Speak with the monks

Meet Norio in Akashima Village

to speak with Norio. This is A Norio Tale 1 of 9.
Go to the tea fields with Norio
Follow Norio a short way to the east, through the town and a short cutscene will play.
Pick up the Mongols’ trail
Find the footprints in the mud just to the north.
Speak with Norio
Norio will bend down to inspect the tracks himself.
Follow the Mongols’ trail
Resume following the trail through the tea fields. There are plenty of muddy footprints so you shouldn’t get lost, but if so just use the guiding wind to get you back on track.
Free the captured monks
You will then have to take out a group of Mongols up ahead in any way you see fit. Make sure to always make the enemy with the red skull and crossbones icon your priority, as if he kills the monk you will fail the objective. Once they are dead, free the monks with .
Defeat the Mongols
We’re not done yet, as more Mongols ride in on horseback down the road. Take them out with the aid of Norio and again, focus on any Mongol who goes after the monks.
Speak with the monks
After the last Mongol is dead, approach the monks right next to you and a cutscene will play.
This finishes The Last Warrior Monk quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
