Starting Location: The Cause of Suffering
Speak with the monk
The monk can be found inside the temple.
Travel with Norio
Head out of the temple and follow Norio out of the gates, mount your horse and then follow Norio down the road until you come across a dying monk.
Speak with the dying monk
Approach him and press for a cutscene.
Speak with Norio
This happens automatically after the cutscene.
Find the Mongols who stole the statue
Head off the side track that deviates from the main road and you’ll soon come across a Mongol camp.
Defeat the Mongols
You’ll have to face a mixture of foes here. There are a number of archers, but also sword, brute and shield Mongols of the blue armor variety. Take them out with your appropriate stances.
Find the statue of Buddha
Head down the hill to the cove area (where there are a number of wooden spikes and three row boats) and you’ll find the Buddha statue on a wooden cart.
