The Burden of Theft is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Burden of Theft Side Quest.
The Burden of Theft is unlocked when you’ve went to the quest starting point in the open world.
Side Tale: The Burden of Theft
Act: Act 2
Region: Toyotama
Quest Giver: Dead Body at Grave site
Requirement: Find the quest start in the open world.
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase + Minor Utility Charm + 14 Linen
Mission Info: I found some discarded items and blood where someone was robbed off the path of Kushi, I hope to find whoever is hurt before it’s too late.
Objectives:
- Investigate the monk’s body
- Search for the hidden item
- Travel to Kushi Pagoda
- Speak with the monk
Starting Location: The Burden of Theft
Investigate the monk’s body
Once you get close to the monk’s body the mission will start itself. Simply walk up to the monk’s body and investigate the two spots on his body. Afterwards a cutscene will start showing you where the hidden item is located.
Search for the hidden item
Head to the short dead end area on the side of the grave site with the red flowers at the end:
You will be able to use your action button to “Collect”. When doing so you will collect the Tsushima Relic.
Travel to the Kushi Pagoda
You will have to mount your horse and travel to the Kushi Pagoda in the bamboo woods.
There will you will see a monk standing in a clearing with foxes around him.
Speak with the monk
Walk up to the monk and a cutscene will start and this mission will end.
This finishes The Burden of Theft quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
