Silent Death (Yuna Tale 2 of 4) is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Silent Death Side Quest.
Silent Death is unlocked when you’ve completed The Tale of Yuna.
Side Tale: Silent Death

Mission Info: A Yuna Tale (2 of 4). The Mongol warlord Altan is terrorising Otsuna prefecture. Finding him is next to impossible, but Yuna’s friend Ichi suggested we target Altan’s allies to draw him out of hiding. Some of these allies are the Japanese slavers known as the Mamushi Brothers.
Objectives:
- Meet Yuna outside the Mamushi Brothers’ farm
- Follow Yuna
- Sneak into the farm and kill the brothers
- Kill Taizo
- Kill Kichizo
- Kill Manzo
- Go to the front gate
- Hide in the pampas grass
Starting Location: Silent Death
Meet Yuna outside the Mamushi Brothers’ farm
Yuna can be found standing next to a tree near the farm.
Follow Yuna
Follow Yuna up the road and watch the cutscene.
Sneak into the farm and kill the brothers
You have the secondary objectives of not being seen and not killing the guards. Time to be the Ghost! We have to kill three brothers: Kichizo, Taizo and Manzo. Start by hopping up the rocks and then the fence in front of you. Now you’ll be in the compound. Remember to use Focused Hearing as much as possible!
Kill Taizo
From here, head up the ladder to the left. Taizo is inside the green tent in front of you. Skirt around to the left, find the crawl space at the back of the tent and press 
to go through. The assassination should be easy from here as Taizo is standing facing the entrance. Press over his body to collect your…trophy.
Kill Manzo
Head back out the crawl space (after using Focused Hearing to check that the guard outside isn’t looking). Head north and into the long grass. You should see Manzo in the fields abusing his slave workers in front of you. Creep your way through the grass and stab him.
Kill Kichizo
Now look southwards and towards the green house/tent mashup building which houses the final brother. Head through the grass and up to the crawl space you can see. Slip through and murder the final brother.
Go to the front gate
Now head out of the door to the south of the tent (making sure the guard outside isn’t around) and then head down the nearby stairs to meet Yuna.
Hide in the pampas grass
Go to the grass just next to the newly-decorated spike and watch the cutscene.
This finishes the Silent Death quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
