Hidden in Snow is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Hidden in Snow Side Quest.
Side Tale: Hidden in Snow
Act: 3
Region: Kamiagata
Quest Giver: Peasant in Jogaku Temple, Jogaku
Requirement: having completed Honor and Ash
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Stealth Charm, +18 Linen
Mission Info: There are few places I’ve received such a welcome as the one the people of Sago just gave me. I’m not sure why they fear me. There’s something going on here, and I will find out exactly what it is they fear.

Starting Location: Sago
Investigate the Town
Go to Sago Mill and access the first building on the right of the bridge. To easily recognize it, there is a water mill across from it. Enter the building and speak with the man.
Find Sota
To find Sota, open your map and go to the investigation area. Sota is located next to the building from where we’ve just spoken with the man. Speak with Sota to continue the tale.
Investigate the Town
Now access the higher levels of the village and go all the way to the right. There’s a straw hat peasant by the blue fabric. Speak with him.
Follow the Peasant
Walk with the peasant. He will give you more information on what exactly is going on in town.
Investigate the Town
From where the peasant leaves you, enter the building in front of you and examine the following items on the right: scraps of women’s clothing on the ground and bloody handprints on a wooden chest.
Next, head towards the closest marker, enter the building and examine the body in the large wooden bucket and the rope above.
Next, head towards the remaining marker and examine the blood on the ground by the corpses.
Now head towards the red maple tree and examine the footprints by one of the wooden fences.
Follow the Tracks
Follow the tracks on the ground. They’ll lead you to a set of buildings where a woman is being held captive.
Rescue the Woman
Now get rid of the various enemies. Make sure that the hostage is always safe and if any enemy approaches her (symbolized by a red icon with a white skull above the enemy’s head), prioritize that enemy.
Return to Sago
After rescuing the woman, make your way back to Sago.
Kill Sota
Kill the mind behind all of this: Sota.
