In Ghost of Tsushima you can unlock 4 Mythic Combat Arts. These are the most powerful moves in the game that consume some Resolve to use (yellow dots above your health bar). They are all earned from a few specific Mythic Tales, which are side quests you can find in the open world. This guide shows all Mythic Arts in the same order as the in-game menu from left to right.
You can check these by pressing the Options-Button> Techniques > Mythic.
Mythic Art: Heavenly Strike
Description: A quick unblockable attack that inflicts extra damage against Staggered enemies.
How to Unlock: Complete Mythic Tale “The Heavenly Strike”. It starts in Region 1, Prefecture: Komatsu.
Mythic Art: Dance of Wrath
Description: Unleash three consecutive unblockable attacks that inflict high damage.
How to Unlock: Complete Mythic Tale “The Spirit of Yarikawa’s Vengeance”. It starts in Region 2, Prefecture: Yarikawa.
Mythic Art: Way of the Flame
Description: Use Incendiary Oil to ignite your katana and burn your foes.
How to Unlock: Complete Mythic Tale “The Undying Flame”. It starts in Region 3, Prefecture: Jogaku.
Mythic Art: Explosive Arrow
Description: Heavy arrow fitted with volatile powder that explodes on impact.
How to Unlock: Complete Mythic Tale “The Curse of Uchitsune”. It starts in Region 1, Prefecture: Hiyoshi.
