Requirement: Start of Act 2
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Melee Charm, +6 Leather
Mission Info: A Kenji Tale (3 of 3). Sounds like someone near the shrine is in distress.
Objectives:
- Speak with Kenji
- Travel with Kenji to the meeting
- Find a place to hide near the meeting area
- Defend Kenji
- Speak with Kenji
Starting Location: The Delicate Art of Negotiation
Speak with Kenji
Kenji can be found in Umugi Cove.
Travel with Kenji to the meeting
Follow Kenji a fair distance north until you reach a bridge and are forced to dismount.
Find a place to hide near the meeting area
Head forwards and follow Kenji for now towards the bridge. Before you get a chance to find a hiding spot…
Defend Kenji
Bandits attack! You’ll be beset by 10-12 bandits, a mixture of archers and swordsmen. Your best bet is to stay close to Kenji because the enemy is under orders to kill him, so occasionally they will have the red skull icon above their head and if they strike Kenji they’ll kill him and you’ll have to restart. Take out the weak melee enemies who get close, and when they’re done, use your bow on the archers.
Speak with Kenji
Find Kenji in the swamp and complete this fairly simple mission.
