Starting Location: Blitz Play
- Location: El Burro Heights / Covington Engineering
- Quest Giver: Steve Haines
- Requirement: Complete “Hotel Assassination” and all five Blitz Play heist prep missions: “Boiler Suits“, “Getaway Vehicle”, “Masks“, “Trash Truck“, and “Tow Truck“.
- Can Be Started By: Franklin, Michael, Trevor
Go To Cypress Flats
You will start by controlling Michael, who will be driving the Trashmaster. Franklin will drive the Tow Truck, and Trevor will act as sniper and lookout. Head over to Cypress Flats and get into position.
Trevor will spot the armored car and reminds Michael to park the Trashmaster across both lanes. The armored car is forced to stop, and control switches to Franklin.
Ram the Security Truck
It’s hard to screw this one up, so just keep accelerating.
Plant a Sticky Bomb on the Rear Doors of the Truck
Just like it says, plant the bomb then back away and detonate it.
Looks like the guards had a panic button though. Police response is swift and brutal.
Take Out the Cops
Four cruisers pull up, each with two cops, and two more cops spawn in the alley across the street. Change to Michael to start working on the Gold Medal requirements:
- Headshots: Kill 12 enemies with a headshot
- Accuracy: Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 60%
Of course you can get headshots with anyone, but Michael’s special ability is great for ensuring you get headshots while keeping your accuracy up. Switch back and forth between characters until you have 10 total switches for the third Gold Medal requirement:
- Switcher: Switch characters 10 times
Once the initial LSPD wave is about half-strength, two more officers will spawn across the street and six NOOSE agents will spawn in the alley behind you.
Take Out the NOOSE Reinforcements Coming From the Rear Alley
Drop down behind the bundles of pipes on pallets and start taking out the NOOSE agents. Roughly about halfway through your murdering, a helicopter will buzz the street. You can try to hit it with Trevor, but you’ll have a better chance later.
More NOOSE agents will join the first batch, effectively dividing your attention between the police and them. Make sure Michael and Franklin are keeping an eye on them so you don’t get flanked.
Take out Police Reinforcements Coming from the Main Road
More police will join the fray on foot, and Trevor will start blowing up cars with his RPG as more pull up. Meanwhile, snipers will post up on the opposite roof. Switch to Trevor and pop them.
Switch back and forth to Franklin to keep him safe as the LSPD renew their efforts. Police vehicles will also pull up in the alley, making the area quite full.
Take Out the Helicopter
Right about then, the helicopter will come back and hang there begging to be shot, and Trevor is nothing if not a people pleaser. That’s also a Gold Medal requirement:
- Hawk Down: Shoot down the helicopter as Trevor
Get in the Garbage Truck
After that, reinforcements start to dry up. Kill the remaining police and Michael will tell Franklin to go deal with the Trashmaster. Hop in and head for the car you stashed earlier.
Go to the Getaway Location
Once you’ve reached the getaway car, hop out of the Trashmaster and toss a Sticky Bomb on it.
Destroy the Garbage Truck
Then get in the car and drive away, detonating the bomb when you’re at a safe distance.
Get Away From the Garbage Truck
Time for Franklin to bounce. When you’re away, he will call Michael to let him know it’s taken care of. Michael then says he’s on his way to meet the guy who is taking delivery of the bonds you’ve stolen, and control will automatically switch to Michael.
Go to Devin’s House
Head to the objective marker and you’ll get a cinematic to end the mission.
This finishes Blitz Play in GTA V.
