Predator is the 46th main story mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Predator for 100% completion.
Gold Medal Requirements:
- Accuracy: Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 70%
- Mission Time: Complete within 09:00
- Headshots: Kill 3 enemies with headshots
- Thin the Herd: Don’t kill any animals

Go to Franklin’s Location
You’re working against the clock, so skip the cutscenes!
- Mission Time: Complete within 09:00
The O’Neil Brothers are looking for Trevor, and Franklin is following them at a discreet distance. Calling Trevor to warn him, he and Michael jump in the car to back Franklin up. Shortly after they leave Trevor’s trailer, you automatically switch to Franklin with the chase heating up.
Chase the O’Neil Brothers
Looks like you’ve been spotted. Don’t lose them as they veer off the Great Ocean Highway and down a dirt road along a cliff.
Time is a factor, but it’s best to drive carefully on the trail rather than have an accident and lose time.
Eventually the O’Neil Brothers SUV swerves to miss an Elk and they crash.
Go to the Car
Head down the hill to where the wrecked SUV is burning. Franklin calls Trevor for air support while he and Chop track them on foot.
Go to the Airfield
Control swaps back to Trevor automatically, and you’re nearly at the airport. Pull up and get in the helicopter.
Go to the Forest
Head to the objective marker to meet up with Franklin on the ground.
Take Out the O’Neil Brothers Before They Escape
Michael will lean out of the helicoper with a sniper rifle equipped with thermal imaging. Press 
/ 
to activate it, then sweep the area looking for humans remembering the remaining Gold Medal requirements:
- Accuracy: Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 70%
- Headshots: Kill 3 enemies with headshots
- Thin the Herd: Don’t kill any animals
By the numbers, you have to hit all three of the O’Neil Brothers with headshots, without killing any animals, and you can only miss once. When you have your sights on one of the O’Neils, it will add a red dot to your minimap to keep track of him. The first will be in the forest, and the second one will be swimming in the river. Make sure to use Michael’s concentration ability to make getting a headshot easier.
Trevor says to check the higher ground, and when you do, you see an RPG streaking in your direction! The shooter is behind a rock and Michael can’t see him, so control will switch back to Franklin who has to go in and take this guy out on foot.
Follow Chop
Chop leads Franklin across the river and then up hill to where the last O’Neil is hiding. When Chop finds him, he runs down a dirt road. Line up the shot and get your third headshot.
Pick up Franklin and Chop from Raton Canyon
Switch back to Trevor and land at the objective marker, waiting for Franklin and Chop to get in the helicopter.
Go to the Airfield
Finally fly back to the airfield and skip the cinematic to end the mission.
