Bugstars Equipment is the 12th main mission chain in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Bugstars Equipment for 100% completion.
NOTE: This is a heist prep mission for the Smart Approach on “The Jewel Store Job”. If you choose the Loud Approach, you will not have access to this mission.

Steal and Deliver a Bugstars Van
As you approach the Bugstars warehouse on Elysian Island, remember the Gold Medal requirement for this mission:
- Sneaky Pest: Steal the Bugstars van without being detected
Driving up to the front of the building you’ll see that there are too many observers for comfort, and the two vans are very close by the doorway. There’s an easier way to do this if you go around to the back of the building.
IMPORTANT: Before you approach the back entrance to the warehouse, make sure that you are not carrying a weapon when you get out of your car!
Once you are sure that you’re unarmed, pull your car up over the painted lines of the Bugstars loading zone until the nearby employee notices your car. Once he starts approaching you, reverse so you’re not in front of the warehouse door and get out of your car.
Move over next to the wall where you won’t be seen and wait for the guy to approach you. Then just punch him to knock him out.
Casually sneak into the warehouse and get in the nearest van, then reverse out of the warehouse and head north to the road.
Then drive the Bugstars van back to Lester’s factory and park it on the objective marker in the tunnel under the bridge. Get out of the van to finish the mission.
NOTE: If this is your first time completing this mission and you have already completed “BZ Gas Grenades”, then you will automatically begin “The Jewel Store Job (Smart Approach)”.
