GTA V Still Pulling Favors Gold Medal Walkthrough

Still Pulling Favors is a Strangers and Freaks Mission (Side Quest) in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Still Pulling Favors for 100% completion.

Go to the Tow Truck

You’re working against the clock, so skip the cutscenes!

Mission Time: Complete within 06:00

A while after finishing “Pulling Favors Again”, Tonya texts Franklin again, asking him to call her so she can ask for even more help. He probably should have blocked her number, but instead he calls her to get the next mission. Head to the Davis Sheriff impound to pick up the tow truck.

Go to the Broken Down Car

Once in the truck, turn left and go back out the gate you came in by. Follow the path to the objective marker as fast as your slow tow truck will manage. There are no points for the condition of your truck, so feel free to drive aggressively. Once you reach the vehicle that you’re towing, turn so the hook is facing either the front or back bumper of the car, then reverse into it until you see the hook catch. Typically you’ll see a “magnetic” effect, or the hook “snap” to the bumper. Then you can hit to raise the hook slightly, so the closest wheels are off the ground.

Allow the Car Owner to Enter the Tow Truck

Watch out for this genius. He’ll want to get into your truck immediately and can sometimes just walk into your way as you’re trying back up to his car. Be prepared to let him into your truck before you can actually hook his car up.

Tow the Car to the Auto Repair Shop

Aside from keeping the owner happy, you also don’t want to bash around the towed car too much because of the other Gold Medal requirement:

Drive the car to the auto shop at the objective marker, and pull into its parking lot. As soon as the notification appears in the upper left corner, hold / to detach the car and stop the clock. Franklin will call Tonya to let her know the job is done and to stay off the rock. Probably should have said that sooner.
