Paparazzo is a Strangers and Freaks Mission (Side Quest) in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Paparazzo for 100% completion.
Gold Medal Requirements:
- Smack Down: Ensure Beverly takes out his rival on the 1st attempt
- Picture Perfect: Help Beverly snap and inspect 3 photographs

Starting Location: Paparazzo
- Location: West Vinewood / Eclipse Boulevard
- Quest Giver: Beverly
- Requirement: Complete “Pulling Favors“
- Can Be Started By: Franklin
Drive Alongside Miranda’s Car
Walking up to the concealed photographer, Franklin will somehow get himself drafted to help Beverly in his quest for celebrity smut. Get on the provided motorcycle and follow that car! Pull up beside the limo until Beverly starts taking pictures of the star in the back seat, then slow down to match speeds for the first Gold Medal requirement.
- Picture Perfect: Help Beverly snap and inspect 3 photographs
Stay near the back seat while the limo tries to speed away. Watch out for traffic and the limo’s maneuvers so that you aren’t knocked off the motorcycle. If you have to play catch up, you won’t have time to get all your shots.
When you approach North Rockford Drive, the limo will speed up and pull ahead of you. Then another photographer on the back of a motorcycle will zip in ahead of you and start taking pictures.
After taking a dozen shots, the other photographer will peel off and head down Boulevard Del Perro. Get after him!
Stop the Rival Paparazzo
Follow the motorcycle closely, but try to match his speed when you pull up alongside him so that Beverly can get a clean hit on his first try for the other Gold Medal requirement:
- Smack Down: Ensure Beverly takes out his rival on the 1st attempt
Take Beverly to His Next Stakeout
With that accomplished, head to the objective marker to drop Beverly off and end the mission.
This finishes Paparazzo in GTA V.
