Pack Man is the 54th main story mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Pack Man for 100% completion.
Gold Medal Requirements:
- Mission Time: Complete within 12:00
- Not a Scratch: Complete with minimal damage to the JB 700
- Shredder: Take out 3 cop cars using the spikes

Collect the Car
You’re working against the clock, so skip the cutscenes!
- Mission Time: Complete within 12:00
You will start by controlling Franklin who is headed to Lamar’s location to pick up the Pegassi Monroe that he’s stolen for Devin’s list. Head to the objective marker behind Glass Heroes, and get in the car.
Take the Car to the Garage
Head to the objective marker outside Hayes Autos and you’ll find a car carrier to load onto. Line up straight on the ramp, then drive up and onto the marker. There’s no Gold Medal requirements for minimizing damage, so feel free to get rough! Skip the cinematic.
Get to the Drop-Off Point
Control will switch over to Trevor as you drive the carrier to the truck stop on Senora Freeway. The carrier is a lot to haul, and lacks maneuverability. The drive out will take up most of your time on the mission. You will have to drive aggressively if you want to make up any of that time, not stopping for lights or most traffic. You can plow through any car on the road with no issue, losing minimal speed in most cases. You don’t want to get a wanted level though, so try to avoid what you can.
Keep the Truck Steady For Franklin
About the time you pass Hookie’s, you will automatically get a two star wanted level. Ideally you’re supposed to be keeping the truck steady for Franklin, but with the road’s curves and traffic you have limited options to do that. Do your best to maneuver gently and avoid hitting things while Franklin climbs back onto the carrier to try and reach the JB 700.
Once he reaches it, you’ll be prompted to switch to Franklin. Once you do, there will be a short cinematic as he rolls off the ramp.
Defend the Truck From the Cops
As soon as you hit the pavement, the next two Gold Medal requirements become relevant:
- Not a Scratch: Complete with minimal damage to the JB 700
- Shredder: Take out 3 cop cars using the spikes
Immediately hit 
/ 
to drop spiked caltrops, and avoid the cop car that is rushing past you. Once it’s in front of you, hit 
/ 
to fire your machine guns at the cop car and don’t stop firing until it stops moving, making sure to avoid it as it spins out.
Keep dropping spikes in the middle of the lane as frequently as the game allows and you’ll likely take out most of the remaining cops. Otherwise hit them with machine guns if they manage to get past you. It’s better to do that than risk ramming them to get in position for spikes.
While trying to defend the carrier it’s best to say right behind it to hit approaching cops with spikes, but just remember that the JB 700 is far faster than it is. Don’t accidentally crash into it.
Meet with Molly
Once all the police have been dealt with, Franklin will call Molly and get the exact drop off location at the Procopio truck stop. The carrier will pull up and stop. Drive around it to where Molly is waiting for you. Skip the cinematic to end the mission.
