GTA V Pulling Favors Again Gold Medal Walkthrough

Pulling Favors Again is a Strangers and Freaks Mission (Side Quest) in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Pulling Favors Again for 100% completion.

Go to the Tow Truck

You’re working against the clock, so skip the cutscenes!

Mission Time: Complete within 07:00

Some time after you’ve completed “Pulling Another Favor” you’ll get a text from Tonya that asks you for help again. This time she didn’t even bother to stand on the corner, so you’ll have to call her to get the mission. Seems like a lot of work you have to do, in order to be able to do her a favor. Head to the Davis Sheriff impound and pick up the tow truck. At least this time you don’t have to wait for Tonya’s slow ass.

Once in the tow truck, head out the gate to your right and the dispatcher will tell you about a car that’s stalled on some train tracks. Better hurry!

Go to the Stalled Car

Once in the truck, turn right and go out the gate. Follow the path to the objective marker as fast as your slow tow truck will manage. There are no points for the condition of your truck, so feel free to drive aggressively. Once you reach the stalled car, quickly reverse into the back bumper of the car, until you see the hook catch. Typically you’ll see a “magnetic” effect, or the hook “snap” to the bumper. Don’t bother raising it yet, instead immediately hit the gas to pull the car off the tracks before the train hits it.

Allow the Car Owner to Enter the Tow Truck

Come to a stop again, letting the owner (who was stupidly still in the car for some reason) get into the truck. Then you can hit to raise the hook slightly, so the closest wheels are off the ground.

Tow the Car to the Auto Repair Shop

Aside from keeping the owner happy, you also don’t want to bash around the towed car too much because of the other Gold Medal requirement:

Follow the path to the objective marker at Glass Heroes Auto Shop. When the towed vehicle is in the painted white box with diagonal lines next to the building, hold / to detach the car and end the mission.
