Exercising the Truth is a Strangers & Freaks mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). Exercising the Truth does not have a Gold Medal, and is not needed for 100% completion.
Starting Location: Exercising the Truth
- Location: Grand Senora Desert

- Requirement: Complete “Delivering the Truth“

Find Marnie
As you approach the run-down trailers in the desert, Marnie will pop out to celebrate your arrival.
You’re given a medal and a very special task: run for five miles through the desert. Don’t ask why, just run! You’ll get a message above your mini-map when you’re inside the “Epsilonism pilgrimage zone”, and it will keep track of your progress as you run. You can hit 
/ 
continuously to run, but you can also just hold it down and it will still count.
Running anywhere within the zone counts, even running back and forth on the airstrip. When you’ve completed your 5 miles you’ll get a pilgrimage complete message and you will get a call from Cris calling you to the Epsilon Program Center in the Vinewood Hills where you will get to meet him. Mission Complete!
This finishes Exercising the Truth in GTA V.
