- Bearing Down: Stay close to Lazlow throughout the chase
- No, I Can Park Here: Knock out the event coordinator
- All Hooked Up: Don’t unhook the trailer

Starting Location: Fame or Shame
- Location: Rockford Hills / Portola Drive / Michael’s House
- Quest Giver: Michael
- Requirement: Complete “Friends Reunited“
- Can Be Started By: Michael, Trevor
Go to the Maze Bank Arena
Holy crap, Trevor’s back and he’s about to help Michael save his little girl from doing something stupid on national television. Before he has time to think about it, Trevor is getting in Michael’s car and they’re riding off together to Maze Bank Arena in South Los Santos.
Go Inside
As soon as you park on the objective marker, get out of the car and a guy with an argyle sweater and clipboard will try to tell Trevor he can’t park there. Trevor offers a counterargument for the Gold Medal requirement:
- No, I Can Park Here: Knock out the event coordinator
Head up the steps to the open door to trigger a cinematic.
Chase After Lazlow
Now Michael and Trevor are chasing after the terrified host of Fame or Shame, GTA favorite Lazlow Jones who runs out to the parking lot and tries to flee his car. Since it appears that the event coordinator had Michael’s car towed, the only logical thing to do is to steal the giant Fame or Shame semi and chase after him.
Get in the Truck
Perfectly normal day for Trevor. Once you and Michael are in the truck, get after Lazlow in one of Grand Theft Auto’s weirdest chases. All the remaining Gold Medal requirements will be met here:
- Fastest Speed: Reach top speed in the Phantom
- Bearing Down: Stay close to Lazlow throughout the chase
- All Hooked Up: Don’t unhook the trailer
So first of all, the Phantom dragging a trailer behind it is… suboptimal as a pursuit vehicle. But whatever you do, ignore the notification to press
/
to detach the trailer. You’re just going to have to live with it. Luckily you weigh more than just about anything on the road, and there are no points for minimal damage so plow through anything that gets in your way as long as you stay on Lazlow’s tail. At the same time, you also have to reach top speed in the Phantom during the chase, and every impact slows you down. There should be a couple nice stretches of straight road with minimal traffic so make the most of them.
When Lazlow makes a left onto Little Bighorn Ave., instead of following him onto the road, follow the tracks instead. It’s an easier maneuver, and he’s going to cross right in front of you right away anyhow.
Michael will call out that he’s on the train tracks, at which point you can follow him back out onto the road.
There’s a hard left at the end of Little Bighorn Ave. onto Integrity Way. Follow him uphill through the tunnel.
At the top of the ramp, there’s a hard right onto Alta St. (also uphill), then another right onto Occupation. You’ll have lost a fair bit of speed by this point, so try to make it up on Occupation by avoiding collisions as much as possible. If you haven’t gotten Fastest Speed yet, this is another opportunity to try.
Follow him around the curve on Elgin Ave., then make a hard right onto Hawick Ave. This chase is nearly over.
Desperate to escape, Lazlow will blow through the entrance to Glory Way and go straight off the edge into the Los Santos River. Keep after him!
At the end of the river Lazlow will run out of juice for his EV, and has no where else to run. Watch the ending cinematic to see the show Lazlow didn’t intend to make that day, and complete the mission.
This finishes Fame or Shame in GTA V.
