Something Sensible is the 69th and final main story mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Something Sensible for 100% completion.
Missable Warning: It is highly recommended to pick the mission “The Third Way“ (Option “C”) for the ending to avoid missable trophies. Picking the other two endings “Something Sensible” or “The Time’s Come“ can lock you out of some trophies/achievements.
Gold Medal Requirements:
- Judas!: Kill Trevor
Walkthrough Video
Starting Location: Something Sensible
- Location: El Burro Heights
- Quest Giver: Devin Weston
- Requirement: Complete “The Big Score“, meet with Devin Weston and choose “A: Kill Trevor” for the finale
- Can Be Started By: Franklin
Chase Trevor
When Franklin confronts Trevor and pulls a gun on him, he has a moment of hesitation, during which Trevor jumps in his truck and takes off. Jump back in your car and follow him. You will not be able to catch up with him, and any attempts to shoot him with a drive-by weapon won’t kill him. Similarly, you won’t be able to shoot out his tires, or destroy his truck. All you have to do is stay with him as he speeds down the freeway.
When you reach the oil fields, Franklin will call Michael and ask for his help dealing with Trevor. Eventually Trevor will pull into an oil refinery, and Michael will arrive to t-bone Trevor’s truck and force him to crash into a massive fuel tank.
Put Down Trevor
As sad as this mission is, there’s only one way to get a Gold Medal:
- Judas!: Kill Trevor
Pull the trigger and watch the horrific cinematic to end the mission, and the game. Once the credits are done, and you receive your psychiatric evaluation from Dr. Friedlander, you’ll load back into the game, and you’ll be able to complete the other two finale missions in the pause menu under “Game” > “Replay Mission”.
This finishes Something Sensible in GTA V.
