The Bus Assassination is the 38th main story mission in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in The Bus Assassination for 100% completion.
Gold Medal Requirements:
- Base Reward: $5000
- Hit and Run Bonus: Kill the target using the bus
- Money Earned: Base + Bonus

Get the Bus
Lester’s next payphone hit is for venture capitalist Isaac Penny. Apparently he’s an avid bus rider, so Lester wants you to steal one. Head to the Dashound Bus Center at the objective marker. There will be one waiting for you to steal.
Drive to Each Bus Stop Until the Target is Located
Follow the yellow route, stopping at each stop to let passengers board.
At the fourth stop, Penny will board complaining that Franklin is late. Franklin will identify him as Mr. Penny, who will respond by getting off the bus and stealing an old woman’s bike.
Assassinate the Target
Penny will start cycling down the sidewalk. Get the bus moving again, and just run him down.
Exit the Bus and Leave the Area
Leave the bus behind and get clear so that you can phone Lester and end the mission.
This finishes The Bus Assassination in GTA V.
