A Starlet in Vinewood is a Strangers and Freaks Mission (Side Quest) in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in A Starlet in Vinewood for 100% completion.

Starting Location: A Starlet in Vinewood
- Location: Vinewood Hills / Ace Jones Drive
- Quest Giver: Leonora Johnson
- Requirement: Collect all 50 Letter Scraps and read the reassembled confession note
- Can Be Started By: Franklin
Once you’ve collected all the Letter Scraps in the game (see GTA V All Letter Scraps Locations), read the full reassembled letter to discover the identity of Leonora Johnson’s killer and his location. Head to the ? marker. Before you go into the backyard, check out the black Landstalker parked sideways in the driveway. If you want to make your life simpler, take a second to flatten all four tires.
After that, head into the backyard where you meet Peter Dreyfuss, who will say some laughably out of touch things before attempting to proposition Franklin. Wow, did he guess wrong.
After being confronted about the murder of Leonora Johnson’s murder he flees, running up the path and through the gate to his driveway.
Kill Dreyfuss or Let Him Go
If you needed an excuse, there’s only one option if you want the Gold Medal:
- Cut!: Kill Dreyfuss
Normally Dreyfuss would immediately get in his SUV and speed away, leaving you to have to kill him with a drive-by weapon or try to force him to crash, possibly leaving you to finish the job. If you’ve already flattened his tires however, Dreyfuss will try to flee on foot, and you can kill him instantly.
