GTA V Pulling Another Favor Gold Medal Walkthrough

Pulling Another Favor is a Strangers and Freaks Mission (Side Quest) in GTA V (Grand Theft Auto 5). This walkthrough shows how to get all Gold Medals in Pulling Another Favor for 100% completion.

Go to the Tow Truck

You’re working against the clock, so skip the cutscenes!

Mission Time: Complete within 05:30

Again, you’ll encounter Tonya outside the liquor store across the street from Franklin’s house. JB’s still “under the weather” and showing saintly patience, Franklin agrees to help Tonya with another tow.

Get into your car, and drive Tonya to the Davis Sheriff impound lot. Drive up to the gate, and it will open for you. Once inside, park your car and get into the tow truck. Tonya will get in with you, and give you a crash course in being a tow truck driver (to save some time waiting for Tonya’s slow movement, park with your passenger door facing the passenger door of the tow truck. Compare the video above with the one from “Pulling Another Favor” to see how much time she wastes).

Go to the Illegally Parked Car

Once in the truck, turn right and go out the gate. Follow the path to the objective marker as fast as your slow tow truck will manage. There are no points for the condition of your truck, so feel free to drive aggressively. Once you reach the Lucky Plucker, reverse into the parking lot and line up with the back bumper of the car, then reverse into it until you see the hook catch. Typically you’ll see a “magnetic” effect, or the hook “snap” to the bumper. Then you can hit to raise the hook slightly, so the closest wheels are off the ground. Then drive all the way back to the impound.

Tow the Car to the Impound

There are no points for the condition of your towed vehicle either, so you can still drive aggressively, but don’t let it bash around too much because of the other Gold Medal requirement:

Drive back to the impound, and look for the area that is labeled as “NO PARKING” with red diagonal lines. When the towed vehicle is in this area, hold / to detach the car and end the mission.
