Siege and Destroy is the 8th main mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Siege and Destroy Main Quest.
- Starting Location: Kairos > Carcadia Burn > Ruined Sumplands
- Quest Giver: Moxxi
- Unlock Requirement: having finished Main Quest 7: Wrath of the Ripper Queen
- Recommended Level: 12
- Reward: XP, Money, Eridium, Rare Assault Rifle & Gnarly Gnashing Gear ECHO-4 Paintjob
- Quest Description: All that stands between you and the Command Bolt Levaine promised is a murderous ripper siege. Oh, and whatever dicey plane Zane’s cooking up to break it. So… kind of a lot, honestly.
Objectives:
- Meet Zane
- Follow Zane + Optional Objective: Talk to Moxxi
- Enter pit
- Follow Zane
- Meet Sophia
- Release Sophia
- Pick up Sophia’s toy
- Reach first catapult
- Kill rippers
- Place Sophia’s Toy
- Clear the area!
- Take Sophia’s Toy
- Reach next catapult
- Kill rippers
- Place Sophia’s Toy
- Clear the area!
- Take Sophia’s Toy
- Reach final catapult
- Disable shield
- Place Sophia’s Toy
- Clear the area!
- Reach Carcadia city & Kill rippers
- Reach city square
- Kill rippers & Kill Captain Kuzma
- Reach Leaders Chamber + Optional Objective: Talk to Zane
- Meet Levaine
- Collect reward
Starting Location: Siege and Destroy
Meet Zane
Just talk to Zane at the bar.
Follow Zane + Optional Objective: Talk to Moxxi
Before following Zane, talk to Moxxi to get the optional objective.
Then follow Zane until he stops at a pit.
Enter pit
Wait for Zane to open the Pit, then enter it.
Follow Zane
Now follow him into the Pit.
Meet Sophia
Go to the cage to meet Sophia the tresher.
Release Sophia
Use your grappling hook to the left and right of Sophia’s cage to release her.
Pick up Sophia’s toy
After that, turn right and pick up the toy from a box.
Reach first catapult
Follow the quest marker. After climbing up some walls, you will reach the catapult.
Kill rippers
Kill all enemies around the catapult.
Place Sophia’s Toy
Pull yourself up with the grappling hook and place the toy at the top of the catapult.
Clear the area!
Now get to a safe distance.
Take Sophia’s Toy
After Sophia took out the catapult, pick up the toy from the container.
Reach next catapult
Follow the quest marker to the next catapult.
Kill rippers
Kill all enemies around the catapult again.
Place Sophia’s Toy
Place the toy at the top of the catapult again.
Clear the area!
Now get to a safe distance again.
Take Sophia’s Toy
Then pick up the toy.
Reach final catapult
Follow the quest marker to reach the final catapult.
Disable shield
To disable the shield, walk past the catapult and enter the broken building, and climb up the ladder in the back right corner.
Here, use the terminal to disable the shield.
Place Sophia’s Toy
Place the toy one last time at top of the catapult.
Clear the area!
Get to a safe distance again.
Reach Carcadia city & Kill rippers
Follow the quest marker to reach the city. Once you arrive, kill all enemies to proceed.
Reach city square
Head into the city now. Follow the path until you reach an open area with a structure with a ball in the middle.
Kill rippers & Kill Captain Kuzma
Here, kill all enemies. After some time, Captain Kuzma will appear. Kill him too.
Reach Leaders Chamber + Optional Objective: Talk to Zane
Before entering the chamber, talk to Zane to finish the optional objective.
Then enter the chamber through the gate.
Meet Levaine
Inside, talk to Levaine.
Collect reward
To collect the reward, head outside through the door in the back left corner of the room and open the chest on the back left side in the next area.
This finishes Siege and Destroy in Borderlands 4.
