The Black Market is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Black Market Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Carcadia District

- Unlock Requirement: Finished Side Mission Price of Freedom > Price of Freedom Pt. 2 > Price of Freedom Pt. 3 > Joe & Sue
- Reward: XP, Money
- Quest Description: Vito, huh? Sounds like this place needs some serious investigating.
Objectives:
- Find Smugglers
- Defeat Order
- Listen to smuggler’s log
- Give password
- Enter Vito’s Fine Establishment
- Talk to barkeep
- Kill Vito’s associates
- Get into Vito’s office
- Explore Vito’s office
- Enter secret room
- Search secret room
Starting Location: The Black Market
After finishing Side Mission Joe & Sue, go back to the Double Tap building. The quest will start where Vito stood by the door earlier.
Find Smugglers
The door will only open for people who know the password. You need to find the smugglers who know it.
Go out to the plaza in front of Double Tap. There will be yellow search radius on the map. Head to the west edge of the search radius, there is a red arrow sign that points to a climbable path. Climb up, then at the top pull open the grate to find a hidden room. Go in to find some Order enemies. Alternatively, you can also climb up via the ladder on the other side.
Defeat Order
Kill all enemies.
Listen to smuggler’s log
The Order killed the smugglers, but they left their ECHO log behind. Grab it from the floor, it’s marked in blue. It reveals the password is Sparkle on, gorgeous!”.
Give password
Interact with the door again.
Enter Vito’s Fine Establishment
Go inside.
Talk to barkeep
Talk to butch in the bar behind the dancefloor. You may need to jump over the counter to get close enough to him.
Kill Vito’s associates
Kill everyone in the club.
Get into Vito’s office
Go upstairs. The office door is locked. You must glide over to the other side and enter the vent in the ceiling to drop into the office.
Explore Vito’s office
Hit the button in the office.
Enter secret room
A secret wall will open downstairs in the bar, go through it.
Search secret room
Interact with the ECHO Log on the table. There’s also a red weapons chest here. The mission will complete after the log finishes playing.
