Borderlands 4 Symbiotic Security Side Mission Walkthrough

Symbiotic Security is a side mission in Borderlands 4 DLC #1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Symbiotic Security Side Quest.

• DLC required: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned
• Starting Location: Kairos > The Whispering Glacier > Bloodstained Hollow
• Quest Giver: Daphne
• Unlock Requirement: having finished Main Quest 4: What Lies Dreaming
• Reward: Money, XP, Pistol (Green or Blue rarity)
• Quest Description: A botanist with security issues? Sounds accurate.

Objectives:

1. Activate turrets x2
2. Activate the nutrient paste
3. Kill the creeps
4. Take gadget from Botanist
5. Find an Alpha Kraggon
6. Kill young kraggons
7. Put alpha kraggon down
8. Collect Kraggon DNA
9. Return to the Botanist
10. Insert Kraggon DNA
11. Kill the creeps
12. Talk to the Botanist
13. Find Alpha Thresher
14. Kill small threshers
15. Down Thresher Alpha
16. Extract Thresher DNA
17. Insert Thresher DNA

Starting Location: Symbiotic Security

Activate turrets x2

Simply activate both turrets near Daphne.

Activate the nutrient paste

Then interact with the big device.

Kill the creeps

Right after activating the device, some enemies will appear. Kill them all.

Take gadget from Botanist

Now talk to Daphne and get the gadget from her.

Find an Alpha Kraggon

Now follow the quest marker to a location near you.

Kill young kraggons

Once arrived, kill the small enemies until the alpha kraggon appears.

Put alpha kraggon down

Just kill the alpha kraggon.

Collect Kraggon DNA

After killing it, interact with the Kraggon to get the DNA.

Return to the Botanist

Now head back to Daphne.

Insert Kraggon DNA

Interact with the panel.

Kill the creeps

Some enemies will appear. Just kill them all.

Talk to the Botanist

After killing the enemies, talk to Daphne again.

Find Alpha Thresher

Follow the quest marker to a new location to find some threshers.

Kill small threshers

Kill the little threshers to make the Alpha Thresher appear.

Down Thresher Alpha

Now just kill the Alpha Thresher.

Extract Thresher DNA

Interact with it to get the DNA.

Insert Thresher DNA

Head back to Daphne and insert the DNA.

This finishes Symbiotic Security side mission in Borderlands 4.
