Primordial Vault: Carcadia Burn is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Primordial Vault: Carcadia Burn Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Carcadia Burn > Grindstone of the Worthy > Primordial Vault: Arch of Radix
- Quest Giver: None
- Unlock Requirement: Collect all 3 Vault Fragments in Carcadia Burn region and open the Primordial Vault.
- Reward: Sniper Rifle, Money, XP, Eridium
- Quest Description: A murderous array stand ready for you, Vault Hunter. Can you beat the odds and triumph?
Objectives:
- Collect the 3 Vault Fragments in The Fadefields
- Enter Primordial Vault
- Kill All Enemies
- Defeat Primordial Guardian Radix
Requirement: Collect the 3 Vault Fragments in Carcadia Burn
To enter the Primordial Vault where the quest is accepted, you must first find the 3 Vault Fragment collectibles in this region.
Vault Fragment #1: Lopside
On the rooftop of a gas station on a dining table. Pull yourself up the grappling point at the front of the roof near the street.
Vault Fragment #2: Tonnage Peel
Found inside a tunnel. Drive halfway through the tunnel, there you find a grate on the floor that you can pull out. When you use ECHO-4’s scan functionality ( 
) it will be marked in green color to see it more easily. After pulling out the grate, drop down to reach the vault fragment.
Vault Fragment #3: Ruined Sumplands
Found on the side of some rocks, out in the open, easy to reach.
Starting Location: Primordial Vault Carcadia Burn
After finding the 3 Vault Fragments, the Vaul can be located in Carcadia Burn > Grindstone of the Worthy. Found in the desert sand along a road. Only spawns after finding the 3 Vault Fragments in Carcadia Burn. When you approach, a stone pillar will come out of the ground where you can insert the Carcadia Burn Vault Key. Then a purple portal appears, step through it to enter the Primordial Vault. On the inside you can accept a side quest, then fight through 3 arenas and beat the Vault Guardian boss at the end.
Kill All Enemies
Defeat all enemies in the Primordial Vault. There are 3 arenas with waves of enemies. After each arena you must step on a yellow ramp to be catapulted to the next arena.
Defeat Primordial Guardian Radix
In the fourth arena you will encounter the Vault Guardian. Defeat him. Afterward go through the purple rift and collect your reward. Then exit through the purple rift orb to complete the quest.
