Borderlands 4 Forgive Me Side Mission Walkthrough

Forgive Me is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Forgive Me Side Quest.

• Starting Location: Terminus Range > Cuspid Climb
• Quest Giver: Dropped by a Badass enemy
• Unlock Requirement: Defeat the badass enemy in the cave at the end of a river, in the south-east of Cuspid Climb region. He drops a blue quest item, collecting it starts this quest.
• Reward: XP, Money, Eridium
• Quest Description: Who is this guy? What’s he doing here? What is this place? Is suffering an intrinsic element of the world that we merely uncover, or an extraneous ornament we can’t help but adorn on the tree of experience? Sometimes, the simplest answers are the best. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of those times.

Objectives:

1. Find Zanzibart’s final resting place
2. Lay Zanzibart’s bolt to rest
3. Slay Myrmidon of the Cruel Dawn
4. Hearken to Vycarias’s tale

Starting Location: Forgive Me

This is a hidden unmarked side mission. Go to the south-east of Terminus Range > Cuspid Climb. Follow the river to the end until you can climb up into a cave with a big monster skeleton in it. Inside this cave you find a badass enemy, kill him and collect the blue quest item that he drops. Picking this up automatically starts the quest.

Find Zanzibart’s final resting place

This objective isn’t marked on the map. Zanzibart’s final restling place is in the north-west corner of Terminus Range > Stoneblood Forest. Slightly west from the last building at the edge of the map.

At the top of the cliff you will find a tall pole, use the grappling point on it to be catapulted over to the cave entrance.

Then go to the end of the cave to complete the objective.

Lay Zanzibart’s bolt to rest

Inside the cave, place Zanzibart’s bolt on the altar.

Slay Myrmidon of the Cruel Dawn

A blue ghost-like boss will appear. Defeat him.

Hearken to Vycarias’s tale

After the fight, a guy called “Vycarias, the Lore-Singer” shows up. You have to wait for him to finish telling you his lengthy tale.

He will be talking for 10 minutes. Just stand there and wait. After he’s done talking the side mission will end. One of the best hidden quests done.
