One Gassy Issue is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the One Gassy Issue Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Fades District (becomes accessible after Main Mission 18: Means of Ascent)
- Quest Giver: Beth
- Unlock Requirement: finished Main Mission 18: Means of Ascent
- Reward: XP, Money, Shield (Green or Purple rarity)
- Quest Description: Give ’em some gas!
Objectives:
- Reach sorting station
- Call elevator
- Unblock elevator
- Enter sorting station
- Reach Locust gas storage room
- Defeat Order security
- Connect Locust gas engine (x2)
- Activate Locust gas engine
- Reach sorting station entrance
- Destroy bio-armored door / Enter sorting station
- Defeat sorting station security
- Reach sorting station command center / Defeat sorting station security
- Disable force field (x2)
- Kill station defender
- Reroute Locust gas throughout city
Starting Location: One Gassy Issue
This starts in the north of Dominion’s Fades District by talking to Beth.
Reach sorting station
The sorting station is in the very south of Fades District, 300 meters away. Go to the quest marker on the map.
Call elevator
When you arrive, press the button on the console. However, the elevator gets stuck
Unblock elevator
Pull the grappling point below the elevator, it will be highlighted in green (press R3/V).
Enter sorting station
Now you can step on the elevator and use the grappling point above it to enter the station.
Reach Locust gas storage room
On the east side of the room pull the grate on the wall. Then go through the air duct to enter the next room.
Defeat Order security
Inside you’ll encounter a group of enemies, kill them all.
Connect Locust gas engine (x2)
Climb the boxes to the roof on the south-west corner of the room, from there jump to the platform in the middle of the room. From there you can glide to both engines.
Activate Locust gas engine
On the previous roof interact with the computer.
Reach sorting station entrance
From the computer turn around and go through the green-lit door.
Destroy bio-armored door / Enter sorting station
In the next room, there is an armored door. You must grab the canister to the right of it and throw it at the door. Then you can go through.
Defeat sorting station security
This room has more enemies, kill them.
Reach sorting station command center / Defeat sorting station security
After clearing out the enemies, go through the next door and defeat the enemies there. Afterward approach the yellow forcefield at the end of the room to trigger the next objective.
Disable force field (x2)
Interact with the computer in front of the yellow forcefield. First the one on the left, then defeat another wave of enemies. Then the computer on the right which also spawns enemies.
Kill station defender
Afterward, a big enemy comes through where the yellow forcefield was. It is immune to your damage. You must grab the containers from across the yellow forcefield and throw it at this enemy to make him vulnerable, then can shoot at him. Repeat when he becomes immune again.
Reroute Locust gas throughout city
After the enemy is defeated, go through where the yellow forcefield was and flip the switch. A red weapons chest is also here. The mission completes right after using the switch. Locust Gas Dispensers are now available throughout Dominion which can be used on armored enemies that are immune to damage.
This finishes One Gassy Issue side mission in Borderlands 4 and unlocks the next mission One Slimy Issue.
