Introduction

Welcome to the Borderlands 4 Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned DLC Trophy Guide! This DLC is quite short with only 5 main quests and 11 side quests. No trophies are missable.

How to start DLC

You must have finished Main Quest 4: A Lot of Process from the Main Game. Then you can head to Zadra’s Backup Plan in Dissected Plateau area and start “An Invitation” quest.

Alternatively, you can create a new character that will start at level 13. To do so, start a new game and select the “Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned” option. After you choose your character, a cutscene will play, and you’ll find yourself in the Whispering Glacier. This character has skipped the first four story missions of the main game, and you’ll start with 12 skill points, four guns, a grenade, and a repkit.

Step 1: Story [2+ Hours]

Simply play through the story of this DLC. You do not need to worry about anything, as nothing is missable.

Step 2: Side Quests & Activities [3+ Hours]

There are 11 side quests and 3 activities to complete. The side quests spawn during the DLC’s third Main Quest “It Grows Below” and can be completed from there at any time.

	Dahl Cleanup Crew Complete all activities on the Whispering Glacier.
There are 3 activities. When unfogging the map, they get marked as question mark icons “?”. When you go close to them, their activity type is revealed, and you get an objective in the top left of the screen that shows what to do. 	Looking for Work at the Top of the World Complete all side missions on the Whispering Glacier.

	Find Me in the Rift Defeat a Rift Boss.
You have to find a rift in the new Whispering Glacier area. It can spawn anytime and is completely random. The rift is orange-red glowing. It shows a “???” prompt when you go near it. Once you interact with it, you get teleported to a new little fighting arena where you have to kill a boss enemy. After killing it, you will get the trophy. Tipp: Check your map from time to time, the Nightmare Rift Boss can appear on the other side of the map from where you are and is marked on the map.
	Hearthwarming Complete mission “On Icebound Shores Abandoned”.
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. Unlocks after Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned Main Mission 1: On Icebound Shores Abandoned.
	Sugar Wrath Complete mission “Hearing Things”.
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. Unlocks after Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned Main Mission 2: Hearing Things.
	Legally Unspecified Tincture Complete mission “It Grows Below”.
