Borderlands 4 Broken Ships Side Mission Walkthrough

Broken Ships is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Broken Ships Side Quest.

• Starting Location: Carcadia Burn > Ruined Sumplands > Moxxi’s Bottoms Up!
• Quest Giver: Zane
• Unlock Requirement: Finished Side Missions Enter the Electi Part 1 > Enter the Electi Part 2 > The Council Divided > A Traitor Within > The Mole’s Gambit
• Reward: XP, Money, Eridium
• Quest Description: Zane and Levaine are having some issues. You don’t happen to be a licensed therapist, do you?

Objectives:

1. Find drone part
2. Return to Zane / Give part to Zane
3. Clear out rendezvous site
4. Leave before it gets gross
5. Find gift for Zane
6. Clear out rendezvous site…again
7. Save Zane and Levaine

Starting Location: Broken Ships

Talk to Zane who stands in the back room of Moxxi’s bar.

Find drone part

Zane wants to give Levaine a gift, and he thinks a drone will win her heart. He sends you to fetch the drone parts.

There will be 3 marked search spots in a ripper camp to the north. The correct spot is on top of the tower building. From the central courtyard where the first quest marker is, use the grappling point on the corner of the tower and then go up the stairs.

When you reach a broken path you must glide around the tower to get across, then use grappling points again and do more gliding. Melee the petrified enemy so it drops the drone part.

Return to Zane / Give part to Zane

Fast travel back to Zane, hand him the part. Levaine will give you a call after.

Clear out rendezvous site

Head to the marked waypoint in the north of the Sumplands. Defeat all enemies there.

Leave before it gets gross

Just head out the camp to give these two lovebirds some space.

Find gift for Zane

Levaine got wind of Zane having prepared a gift for her. She doesn’t want to come empty-handed, so calls you to get a laste-minute gift.

Go to the waypoint slightly east. The gift is a gun hanging off the side of a house.

Clear out rendezvous site…again

The two lovebirds got themself ambushed by rippers. Go back to the previous area and kill another wave of enemies.

Save Zane and Levaine

They are up in the tower. Walk up the rocks/stairs to the big crane. Then walk over the crane to get over there.

Levaine and Zane are arguing and then make up. The mission ends here after their talk.
