A Quarry of Epic Proportions is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Quarry of Epic Proportions Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Terminus District
- Quest Giver: starts by interacting with an Ammo Vending machine
- Unlock Requirement: Find and interact with the Ammo Vending machine in Dominion’s Terminus District, in the tunnel east of Frantic Scrawl fast travel station.

Starting Location: A Quarry of Epic Proportions
This is a hidden side mission, it’s neither marked on the map with a “!” quest icon, nor is it given by an NPC. You have to interact with an ammo vending machine in Dominion’s Terminus District, to the east of the “Frantic Scrawl” fast travel station (which is marked on the map). Put a waypoint on the starting location and it will guide you there. You’ll find the vending machine inside a tunnel, the entrance is slightly south of the vending machine. As soon as you interact with the vending machine, you get a call from Horatio and the side mission will start. It’s just a short enemy ambush.
Defeat genius ambush
Defeat the groups of enemies that spawn in the area. They are weak standard enemies, nothing difficult. After they’re all defeated the mission instantly completes. A very short 30 second quest.
