Borderlands 4 A Humble Abode Side Mission Walkthrough

A Humble Abode is a side mission in Borderlands 4 DLC #1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of A Humble Abode Side Quest.

• DLC required: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned
• Starting Location: Kairos > The Whispering Glacier > The Speakeasy
• Quest Giver: Barney
• Unlock Requirement: having finished Main Quest 4: What Lies Dreaming
• Reward: Money, XP, Eridium, Assault Rifle (Green or Blue rarity), Cosmetic: Character Skin
• Quest Description: It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve been through, everyone deserves somewhere to feel safe and sound.

Objectives:

1. Reach Dahl escape shuttle
2. Hack Dahl escape shuttle
3. Reach the ravine
4. Brighten the place up
5. Talk to Barney
6. Go to Scav camp
7. Kill slaggon & Collect keepsakes x5
8. Find expedition camp
9. Kill creeps
10. Place keepsakes x5

Starting Location: A Humble Abode

Reach Dahl escape shuttle

Leave the Speakeasy and get to the west side of the map to find the Dahl escape shuttle.

Hack Dahl escape shuttle

Interact with the door to hack it.

Reach the ravine

Now head to the east side of the map to reach the ravine.

Brighten the place up

Shoot the crystal above you until it’s free of the orange stuff.

Talk to Barney

After shooting the crystal, talk to Barney next to you.

Go to Scav camp

Now head to the north side of the map to reach the scav camp.

Kill slaggon & Collect keepsakes x5

When you enter the camp, kill all the enemies here.

Then, to the right of the entrance, you can find the first keepsake. All of them will be marked when you go near them.

From the first keepsake, turn left and move forward to find the next two keepsakes.

From keepsake two and three, turn right and you can see the last two keepsakes already.

Find expedition camp

Follow the quest marker to the expedition camp nearby.

Kill creeps

When you enter the camp, just kill all enemies.

Place keepsakes x5

After killing the enemies, enter Barney’s house and place the keepsakes.

This finishes A Humble Abode side mission in Borderlands 4.
