Starting Location: AAA for Effort
This mission starts in the very north of Dominion’s Terminus District. It will get marked on the map when unfogging the area, then you can place a waypoint on it and the location line will guide you to the quest start. You must interact with a green-highlighted console to begin the quest.
Enter Ordonite smelting plant / Clear enemies
After interacting with the quest start, Max Sky will call you over the radio. Afterward the objective gets marked on the map, follow the location line there. When you reach a big locked door you must interact with the green-highlighted button on the right side of the door. Then clear out the Order enemies in the plaza.
Afterward the objective temporarily updates to find a bunch of items scattered around the city, but you can simply go back to the green-highlighted button on the door and interact with it, then the door opens. No need to go to all the other locations.
Reach control room
Now follow the location line through the facility (scan with
/ Z). After dropping down into the second room, pull the grate in the back left corner to open an air duct and go through it.
You land in a room with some monsters. Pull yourself up the grapple point at the end of the room, then climb to the top in the next area. Exit that room at the top to reach the control room, more enemies are waiting there.
Activate first power bank
The power bank is in the south-east corner (left corner) of the control room. The power banks in this room will have objective markers on them, and each one spawns a new wave of enemies.
Activate second power bank
The second power bank is in the north-west corner of the same room.
Activate third power bank
The third one is in the south-west corner.
Activate Ordonite battery dispensers
This is also in the same room, on the east side upstairs.
Return to Max Sky / Place Ordonte battery to open door
Now leave the room through the west gate, press the button to the right of the gate.
When you reach the end of the next room, you must grab the battery to the right of the locked gate and insert it on the power source left of the gate.
From there exit the facility and return to the quest start.
Place Ordonite battery in mech’s back
Back in the room where the quest started, you can now take a battery from the dispenser on the right side. Jump up behind the robot and throw the battery on its back.
Turn on Ordonite reactor / Open thruster covers
Halfway up behind the robot, interact with the 3 green highlighted spots. Then thrusters you need to pull open on the sides with R3/V when standing below them.
Open roof
Hit the switch on the console where the quest started. Then the launch module will count down until the robot gets launched through the roof. The mission is complete right after that.
This finishes AAA for Effort side mission in Borderlands 4.

Chris says
I found something interesting pertaining to Max Sky. After launching the mech you can operate a switch to open the floor under the mechs launch pad. In there is an echo log. The echo log is max talking g about leaving his possessions behind. He talks about shooting a super secret switch above a big X somewhere.
Chad says
If you stand on his bed and press Up om D-pad/Echo 4 scan) you’ll see a green ball you can shoot. Shooting it exposes a chest in front of you. Happy hunting!
