Bad Seed Pt. 2 is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Bad Seed Pt. 2 Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Fades District (becomes accessible after Main Mission 18: Means of Ascent)
- Quest Giver: Lysett
- Unlock Requirement: Finished Side Mission: Bad Seed + finished Main Mission 18: Means of Ascent
- Reward: XP, Money, Shield (Green or Purple rarity)
- Quest Description: Plant the seed and show those dead parents what for, once and for all.
Objectives:
- Disrupt propaganda device
- Defeat Order troops
- Reach fertilizer room
- Defeat Order security
- Put seed in fertilizer
- Kill Order troops
- Fertilize seed / Stop fertilizer
- Shoot pipes (x4)
- Shoot tree fruits
Starting Location: Bad Seed Pt. 2
Talk to Lysett in the middle of Fades District, after completing her previous side mission Bad Seed.
Disrupt propaganda device
Across from the quest start jump to the roof of the building and shoot the power box outlined in orange.
Defeat Order troops
The Order doesn’t like you messing with their stuff and sends its robots. Defeat them.
Reach fertilizer room
After defeating the enemies, go through the door in the plaza where they came from.
Then jump up the airducts and the hanging platform, and climb the wall in the next room. Then you reach a room with more enemies.
Defeat Order security
Kill all enemies in the room.
Put seed in fertilizer
Jump on top of the middle platform and insert the seed in the little flower pot on the ground.
Kill Order troops
More enemies spawn, kill them.
Fertilize seed / Stop fertilizer
Turn the valve on the south-west side of the room. After a few seconds you need to turn the valve again to turn it off.
Shoot pipes (x4)
Poisonous gas will fill the room. You must quickly shoot the 4 pipes before you die. One is on the ground level, the other 3 are higher up. Use the gust of wind in the east edge of the room to be lifted up there. Scan for the pipes with 
/ Z (PC) and they will be outlined in orange.
Shoot tree fruits
The little seed has already grown into a full tree. Shoot one of the red fruits on the tree. Turns out they are “gun fruits” that drop guns out of them, rather than food. The mission ends right after that.
