Objectives:

  1. Kill the… guns?
  2. Talk to Bash
  3. Reach ammo storage
  4. Disable barrier 0/2
  5. Take Catch-tainers
  6. Place Catch-tainers
  7. Trap Tediore Offspring 0/5
  8. Blow Bomb Squad away
  9. Kill Bomb Squad/Kill Josie/Kill Jake
  10. Capture extra Tediores 0/6 (Optional) / Reach Rock Bottom
  11. Kill more… guns?!
  12. Battle PEWPEW and his army
  13. Enter the GIM
  14. Defeat PEWPEW
  15. Reboot GIM core

Starting Location: Wayward Gun

This mission starts in the north of Cuspid Climb region by talking to a man in Dusk’s Advent settlement. It will get marked on the map when unfogging the area.

Kill the… guns?

Yes, as absurd as it sounds the guns have grown legs and become sentient. Kill them all. You will hear them talking if you are having trouble seeing them.

Talk to Bash

Once all the guns are gone head back to where the mission marker is in the house just outside the small town.

Reach ammo storage

Hop on your vehicle and head south to the mission marker. Once you get close to the marker you will see more guns to kill and be told the key has been lost.

Disable barrier (x2)

Grapple up to the dwelling where the wires are heading into to the East. Inside you will see a big red marker on a generator, shoot it. Next head back down and look at the roof of the shed. You will see the other generator, shoot it.

Take Catch-tainers

Head inside the shed and collect the mission items.

Place Catch-tainers

Head to the mission marker farther west. Just off the side of the road you will see a glowing green spot to interact with, place the Catch-tainers here.

Trap Tediore Offspring (x5)

Grab the catch-tainers from the open container and use these to throw at 5 guns running around ahead. You can use the same one by throwing it and then reclaiming it after it sucks up the gun.

Blow Bomb Squad away

The Bomb Squad will now ambush you, defeat them all.

Kill Bomb Squad/Kill Josie/Kill Jake

Defeat the 2 members of the Bomb Squad for these objectives.

Capture extra Tediores 0/6 (Optional) / Reach Rock Bottom

Carry a Catch-tainer and head for the mission marker. Along the way keep an eye out for more guns to capture but make sure to complete the optional portion of this mission before entering the stronghold.

Kill more… guns?!

Head through the stronghold killing as many guns as possible. Continue throughout the stronghold and defeat all waves of enemies. Check the red dots at the top of the compass to locate the enemies easily.

Battle PEWPEW and his army

Once you have taken out all the guns PEWPEW will show up with more guns. It will be on a platform above the open area. Look for the mission marker and grapple your way to the platform above. Take out the guns here and defeat PEW.

Enter the GIM

Climb up to the next level by using the container and ladder in the corner of where you fought PEW. Jump across to the mission marker and use the climbable wall.

Defeat PEWPEW

PEWPEW will appear on the shrine ahead of you along with other guns. Take out PEWPEW and whatever other guns you need along the way. Attack him until he stops moving and melee him so he falls apart.

Reboot GIM core

Interact with shrine at the front of the room to reboot the GIM core.

This finishes Wayward Gun side mission in Borderlands 4.
