Scoundrel Roundup: Kilo is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Scoundrel Roundup: Kilo Side Quest.
- Starting Location: The Fadefields > The Howl > The Launchpad
- Quest Giver: Shim
- Unlock Requirement: Shim gives this during Side Mission: The Kairos Job. It’s a sub-mission to recruit people for him.
- Reward: Money, XP, Eridium
- Quest Description: Making friends as an adult is hard. Luckily, you and these folks already have a couple of things in common: a desperate need for financial security, and the moral flexibility of a yoga instructor with a law degree.

- Smack button to start sequence
- Listen to Kilo
Starting Location – Scoundrel Roundup: Kilo
This side mission is automatically started during another side mission The Kairos Job. Do the first objective of The Kairos Job to walk with Shim. Then he tasks you with recruiting Kilo and Glitch which initiates their two quests:
Talk to Kilo
Kilo is at a camp slightly north-west of where you talked to Shim. Go talk to her.
Approach System
Look at the big metal container near where Kilo is.
Smack button to start sequence
You must now complete a little sequence of using the buttons and switches on the side of the metal container. There is a short timer between each interaction so you must be quick. If you fail, you can keep retrying. To give yourself more time to react you can pause the game between each command.
- MELEE ATTACK the RED BUTTON
- FLIP the LEFT SWITCH
- SHOOT the PANEL at the top
- PULL the RIGHT LEVER
- SHOOT the PANEL at the top
- FLIP the LEFT SWITCH
- MELEE ATTACK the RED BUTTON
- PULL the RIGHT LEVER
- MELEE ATTACK the RED BUTTON
- FLIP the LEFT SWITCH
If done correctly the door to the metal container will open.
Listen to Kilo
Wait for Kilo to finish talking and the side mission will complete.
