Crack This Guy’s Back is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Crack This Guy’s Back Side Quest.

Starting Location: Crack This Guy’s Back
This mission starts in the south of Stoneblood Forest region. It gets marked on the map when unfogging the area.
Pop Back McCracky’s back
Melee him.
Take your leave
Head out of the house as if you were leaving.
Set the mood (x2)
Head back inside and you will be told you need to find a battery for the lotion thrower. Setting the mood will involve lotioning McCracky up and lighting the candles, which you automatically complete by doing the next objectives.
Power lotion thrower
Head to the northwest corner of the house outside and drop down to the area below. You will see a fridge and grill loot stashes but in a pile of rubble near it you will find two batteries:
Pink one up and bring it back to the lotion throw and deposit it.
Lotion McCracky up
Once deposited head over to the control panel and use it to power it up.
Light Candles
All around the room you will see 4 sets of candles, outlined in orange. Simply shoot or melee each of them to light them.
Pop McCracky’s back again
Melee McCracky again.
Celebrate a job well done
Head out and start walking away from McCracky’s house.
Pop McCracky’s back AGAIN
Head back inside and melee McCracky yet again.
Reach high ground
Head out and down the path looking to the cliifs to the right. Where you see a gust of wind coming from the ground there will be a grapple point, use it to go on to the cliffs. Make your way to the mission marker.
REALLY pop McCracky’s back
Jump down through the hole in the roof of McCracky’s house and slam down on McCracky.
