Love in the Time of Eridium Poisoning is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Love in the Time of Eridium Poisoning Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Terminus District
- Quest Giver: Brenda
- Unlock Requirement: Available after Main Mission 21: Secrets of the Vault
- Reward: XP, Money, Assault Rifle (Green or Purple)
- Quest Description: Brenda needs your help to save her marriage. You hopeless romantic, you.
Objectives:
- Talk to cooling plant foreman / Enter cooling plant
- Clear out enemies
- Shut down plant
- Prime first pump / Cycle first pump
- Prime second pump
- Clear enemies
- Prime third pump
- Shut down plant
- Join Brenda in reservoir
- Kill Brenda / Kill Herman
- Open break room
Starting Location: Love in the Time of Eridium Poisoning
This mission starts in the south of Dominion’s Terminus District. Enter the building at the end of the water canal to find Brenda inside. It will get marked when unfogging the area, then you can put a marker on it that will lead you there.
Talk to cooling plant foreman / Enter cooling plant
Brenda bought her husband a sexy gift, but accidentally dropped it in the reservoir. Your job is to find her that item.
Go back outside the building and interact with the console at the door upstairs. The foreman will open the door, then go inside to enter the plant.
Clear out enemies
In the first room will be enemies, kill them all.
Shut down plant
Flip the switch in the middle of the room.
Prime first pump / Cycle first pump
Pull the lever in the same room, it will be marked. If you are too slow to cycle the pump it will fail and you must redo it.
- Pull lever
- Quickly shoot the targets on the pipes to the right of the lever when they light up green.
Prime second pump
Go to the next pump in this room and again shoot the targets when they are green. There are 6 targets total.
Clear enemies
More enemies spawn right after this in the same room, kill them.
Prime third pump
Use the third lever in this room and shoot the 8 targets when they are green.
Shut down plant
Flip the switch in the middle of the room again.
Join Brenda in reservoir
Return to the quest giver and jump down in the building.
Kill Brenda / Kill Herman
Brenda and the Foreman turn on your and try to kill you. Kill them instead.
Each of them drops a blue item, pick these up.
Open break room
Go back up the ladder and use the key on the room. The quest ends as soon as you do that. There’s a weapons chest in here.
