Old Tricks is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Old Tricks Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Fades District (becomes accessible after Main Mission 18: Means of Ascent)
- Quest Giver: Raymond
- Unlock Requirement: Finished Side Mission Old Raymond > Old Lads
- Reward: XP, Money
- Quest Description: Old Raymond’s back in the revolutionary saddle, and you’re the horse. Let’s ride.
Objectives:
- Meet Old Raymond at radio tower
- Defeat Order troops
- Take transmitters
- Place transmitters (x3)
- Return to Old Raymond
- Defend radio tower
- Talk to Old Raymond
Starting Location: Old Tricks
This starts in the same place as the previous side mission Old Lads by talking to Old Raymond in Fades District.
Meet Old Raymond at radio tower
The radio tower will be marked in Terminus district. If you’ve unlocked a nearby fast travel station you can travel there immediately. Approach him and the objective will update.
Defeat Order troops
You must kill all Order enemies in this area.
Take transmitters
Raymond will hand you an item, take it.
Place transmitters (x3)
You must install 3 transmitters on the tower above where Raymond handed you the item. Jump up to the ladder directly above Raymond (can scan with 
/ Z to mark it green). Two transmitters are on the floor up the ladder.
One transmitter is on the floor above that. Look for a climbable edge in the south-west of where you placed the first two transmitters to climb up.
Return to Old Raymond
Drop back down to Raymond.
Defend radio tower
More enemies arrive, defeat them.
Talk to Old Raymond
After all enemies are cleared out talke to Raymond again. He says his thanks and his questline ends right after you are done talking.
This finishes Old Tricks side mission in Borderlands 4.
