Borderlands 4 Yes, Chef Side Mission Walkthrough

Yes, Chef is a side mission in Borderlands 4 DLC #1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Yes, Chef Side Quest.

• DLC required: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned
• Starting Location: Kairos > The Whispering Glacier > DCN Feuermann
• Quest Giver: Stef
• Unlock Requirement: having finished Main Quest 4: What Lies Dreaming
• Reward: Money, XP, Eridium
• Quest Description: If a chef burns something in the kitchen but nobody else is around, did it truly burn?

Objectives:

1. Reach breaker room
2. Inspect damage
3. Slam pad
4. Activate AC within 20 seconds
5. Reboot system – insert code
6. Return to Chef
7. Free chef!

Starting Location: Yes, Chef

To get there, make your way up until BEFORE you drop down to the boss fight. Here, turn left and move forward until the end.

Then turn right and get through the opening in the wall and drop down.

After killing some enemies, you reach a room where the side quest is located.

Reach breaker room

Turn left and follow the path to reach the beaker room.

Inspect damage

Here, scan the green glowing parts.

Slam pad

Use the grappling hook above the pad and immediately slam with  /  .

Activate AC within 20 seconds

Immediately after slamming the pad, turn right and look above you, use your grappling hook on the lever.

Then quickly shoot open the vent next to the lever and get through it. Then immediately turn right and look above you and use your grappling hook again on the second lever.

Now quickly turn left and slide through the opening.

Now turn right and use your grappling hook on last time on the third lever.

Reboot system – insert code

Now head back into the room where you did the ground slam. Here, interact with the console from left to right. The code is Left, Down, Left, Up.

Return to Chef

Now get back to Chef.

Free chef!

There is no known way to save her, so just melee her.
