Gone Are My Leggies is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Gone Are My Leggies Side Quest.
- Starting Location: The Fadefields > Dissected Plateau
- Quest Giver: Topper
- Unlock Requirement: Finished Main Mission 5: One Fell Swoop and unfogged the map around the side mission to reveal its location.
- Reward: Sniper Rifle, Money, XP, Eridium, Cosmetic: Vehicle Paintjob (Halt, Citizen)
- Quest Description: Oh, like your legs have never thrown a wee tantrum and stomped off, only to be pinched by a monstrous winged menace.
Objectives:
- Climb lighthouse
- Follow the Beastie!
- Enter the Beastie’s lair / Kill the Beastie
- Check on Leggies
- Return Leggies to Topper
Starting Location: Gone Are My Leggies
This side mission starts at Boglight Vigilance, the building on the hill south of Wyclef’s Reprieve Safehouse. Talk to the ripper without legs, in front of the building. You reach it by going over the wooden bridge to the north of the quest marker. The Ripper’s legs ran away from him and he needs your help to “catch” his legs.
Climb lighthouse
You must reach the top of the lighthouse. You can use ECHO-4’s scan ability to see the location line guide you through the climbing section.
First you must climb up the wall to the right of the quest giver. Then use the grappling point on the right side and double-jump up the next yellow ledge. Then climb the ladder.
You will see the legs at the top, but a flying enemy “Beastie” comes and steals them away.#
Follow the Beastie!
Jump and glide after the leg-stealing beastie. Then drive after it. This takes about 3 minutes. It will lead you to its lair. If you lose sight of it, check the blue marker on the HUD radar at the top of the screen.
Enter the Beastie’s lair / Kill the Beastie
After the Beastie stops flying away, kill it.
If you’re too underleveled you may need to come back later, but you can try affecting it with elemental damage and then take cover, or do critical hits with a Sniper Rifle. It is weak to fire damage, so the easiest method is to use fire element weapons and let the burn damage do its job while you evade any attacks.
Check on Leggies
Talk to the leggies where you defeated the Beastie.
Return Leggies to Topper
The Leggies will automatically walk back to Topper on a predetermined path, but you need to stay close to them. When you go through a village with enemies and the Leggies stop walking, you need to clear out the enemies. When it’s safe, Topper will appear and collect his Leggies. After this the mission is complete.
This finishes Gone Are My Leggies side mission in Borderlands 4 and unlocks the next Side Mission To the Limb It.
