Ultimate Vault Hunter: Zane’s Firmware is the 22nd main mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Ultimate Vault Hunter: Zane’s Firmware Main Quest.

• Starting Location: Kairos > Carcadia Burn > Ruined Sumplands
• Quest Giver: Zane
• Unlock Requirement: having finished Main Quest 21: Secrets of the Vault
• Recommended Level: 35
• Reward: None
• Quest Description: Learn about Zane’s new interface that will let you swap firmware between your gear.

Objectives:

1. Talk to Lilith
2. Travel to Firmware Transfer Machine
3. Open interface

Starting Location: Ultimate Vault Hunter: Zane’s Firmware

Talk to Lilith

Just talk to Lilith at the bar.

Travel to Firmware Transfer Machine

You can now fast travel to any of the four marked faction hideouts. There is a Firmware Transfer Machine at each of the hideouts.

Open interface

Now interact with the machine, you can back out right after.

This finishes Ultimate Vault Hunter: Zane’s Firmware in Borderlands 4.
