Borderlands 4 Mob Rules Side Mission Walkthrough

Mob Rules is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Mob Rules Side Quest.

• Starting Location: Terminus Range > The Low Leys
• Quest Giver: The Boss
• Unlock Requirement: Available after Main Mission Crystal Brawl & Side Mission Mob Mentality
• Reward: Blue or Purple Assault Rifle, XP, Money, Eridium, ECHO-4 Paintjob: Claver
• Quest Description: The exchange needs to be made if you want to break into Lictor’s bunker. And you want to break in to Lictor’s bunker, don’t you?

Objectives:

1. Take cash
2. Reach meetup spot
3. Signal the Boss’s contact
4. Place cashola
5. Kill rippers
6. Digistruct package
7. Reach The Boss’s hideout
8. Kill manglers
9. Open hideout
10. Enter hideout
11. Place package
12. Activate cracking device
13. Take cracked tech
14. Return to The Boss

Starting Location: Mob Rules

To start this side mission speak with The Boss in The Pit, available immediately after completing side mission Mob Mentality if you have also completed Main Mission Crystal Brawl.

Take Cash

Go to the nearby table in the Boss’s office and take the cash.

Reach meetup spot

Head outside The Pit to have the objective show the location of the meetup spot to the southwest. Along the way you’ll have to fight your way through a bunch of Rippers.

Signal the Boss’s contact

In this area you need to shoot the three bells in order. The order is shown by the rings around the bell (blue > yellow > purple) and you need to shoot the ones with the stars beside them. So first, shoot the blue bell on the middle tower.

Then the yellow bell on the left tower.

And finally the purple bell on the right tower.

Place cashola

To the right of the stairs, interact with the green spot to place the briefcase of cash.

Kill rippers

The informant is trying to alter the deal, you do not want it altered further, so kill all the enemies that appear in the area.

Digistruct package

After all the enemies are dead, interact with the white box to the right of the stairs to pick it up.

Reach The Boss’s hideout

You can now head to the northeast to the hideout to drop off the package. You need to grapple over the gap using the two points above the purple crystals.

Kill manglers

When you arrive there will be a bunch of manglers in the area, deal with them.

Open hideout

Once the manglers are dealt with, interact with the pad to the left of the door to open the hideout.

Enter hideout

Walk inside for further instructions.

Place package

Go forward and place the box on the spot between the two blue turbines.

Activate cracking device

Interact with the button on the right to open the package.

Take cracked tech

Now pick up the item that is where the package was.

Return to The Boss

You can now return to The Pit and give the tech to The Boss to complete the side mission.

This finishes Mob Rules side mission in Borderlands 4.
