Joe & Sue is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Joe & Sue Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Carcadia District
- Quest Giver: Joe
- Unlock Requirement: Finished Side Mission Price of Freedom > Price of Freedom Pt. 2 > Price of Freedom Pt. 3
- Reward: XP, Money
- Quest Description: You’ve been wondering how Joe and Sue are holding up. Might as well stay for a visit since you’re already there.
Objectives:
- Go see Sue
- Search upstairs
- Talk to Joe
- Search the restaurant for Sue
- Defeat Order patrol
- Search ship for Sue
- Talk to Sue
- Find gardening tools (x3)
- Defeat Order troops
- Give tools to Sue
Starting Location: Joe & Sue
After Price of Freedom Pt. 3, go to the north-east corner of Dominion’s Carcadia district. A door to a house is now open, go inside to find Joe.
Go see Sue
Joe sends you to go see his wounded wife to cheer her up. Go to the back of the house. No Sue there.
Search upstairs
Go up the staircase, check the mattress. No Sue there.
Talk to Joe
Talk to Joe again… he didn’t notice that his wounded wife apparently wandered off. He sends you to check a restaurant if she’s hanging out there.
Search the restaurant for Sue
The restaurant is 270 meters south-west. The location line will lead you there.
Defeat Order patrol
When you approach, there will be some enemies. Defeat them. Joe will call you, after some talking the objective updates.
Search ship for Sue
The ship is 350 meters south-west. Approach the location and you’ll see Sue standing there.
Talk to Sue
Interact with Sue.
Find gardening tools (x3)
There are 3 blue items you need to collect in the small search area.
- On the floor in the room next to Sue.
- On the west side, just down the ramp from Sue.
- Go up the ramp on the side of the area and glide over to the platform in the middle.
Defeat Order troops
Enemies will appear, kill them.
Give tools to Sue
Go back to Sue where she was before, hand her the items. The mission completes after the are done talking. Their next mission The Black Market appears near the center of Carcadia District.
This finishes Joe & Sue side mission in Borderlands 4 and unlocks the next mission The Black Market.
