Primordial Vault: Terminus Range is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Primordial Vault: Terminus Range Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Terminus Range > The Low Leys > Primordial Vault: Arch of Origo
- Quest Giver: None
- Unlock Requirement: Collect all 3 Vault Fragments in Terminus Range region and open the Primordial Vault.
- Reward: Shotgun, Money, XP, Eridium
- Quest Description: The Timekeeper’s own progendy awaits you, Vault Hunter. Can you pluck his power from between its ribs?
Objectives:
- Collect the 3 Vault Fragments in The Fadefields
- Enter Primordial Vault
- Kill All Enemies
- Defeat Primordial Guardian Origo
Requirement: Collect the 3 Vault Fragments in Terminus Range
To enter the Primordial Vault where the quest is accepted, you must first find the 3 Vault Fragment collectibles in this region.
Vault Fragment #1: Cuspid Climb
This one is tricky to reach. It’s on top of a mountain that you must glide to. Start roughly 150 meters west of where the Vault Fragment icon is on the map, from the top of the cliffs. Then glide to the plateau that sticks out of the side of the mountain. There you can enter a tunnel to find the fragment at the end. See the red arrows in the image below for the path you must glide across.
Vault Fragment #2: The Low Leys
Found on top of a rocky path. You can jump up the many little rocks near the street level. At the top you must use a grappling point to pull yourself up.
Vault Fragment #3: Windspear
Inside an enemy base.
Starting Location: Primordial Vault Terminus Range
After finding the 3 Vault Fragments, the Vaul can be located in Terminus Range > The Low Leys. This is hidden inside a mountain tunnel. You must glide to it across a gap, see the 2nd map image below, the yellow character arrow indicates the starting point. The 3rd image shows where you must glide to. Then at the end of the tunnel you reach the vault. Only spawns after finding the 3 Vault Fragments in Terminus Range. When you approach, a stone pillar will come out of the ground where you can insert the Terminus Range Vault Key. Then a purple portal appears, step through it to enter the Primordial Vault. On the inside you can accept a side quest, then fight through 3 arenas and beat the Vault Guardian boss at the end.
Kill All Enemies
Defeat all enemies in the Primordial Vault. There are 3 arenas with waves of enemies. After each arena you must step on a yellow ramp to be catapulted to the next arena.
Defeat Primordial Guardian Origo
In the fourth arena you will encounter the Vault Guardian. Defeat him. Afterward go through the purple rift and collect your reward. Then exit through the purple rift orb to complete the quest.
